hhmmm...not sure about this composition IMHO seems a bit too buisy...maybe just only the tree could work better...great blue sky however...

the composition is particular, its a bit too heighty for my taste
but the colors are great, and the shapes are interesting
the tree is way too big, couldnt you axe it out before taking the picture?

I can ask the Dean if I can Chop down the tree to make a photo of the library... But I think she wouldn't like it very much and probably fire me if I did it!!

Think a better position of the tree is needed. Maybe not having to chop it down but just find a slightly different angle where the branches of the tree is not distracting the background building.

Great bold colors and crisp geometric shapes you have here. I agree with the others about the composition not being the best for showing the library itself. But, I like the off-balance effect that the tree adds to. The building is a bit lost, but the geometry is emphasized.

I like it. I dont see how the composition could be improved if you move 10 steps to the left or the right. The tree wont go anywhere.
Some parts are at the verge of over-exposure.
Colourful, sharp and clean. Good work.

@ Goldpaw: It was my intention to unbalance it a bit, I could have gone for a different composition and take this from another angle only capturing the building, But I also liked the tree.

@Roadrunner: You're right moving to either sides I would end up with the tree there anyway, ans as I said before, I cant chop it down It was my intention to have strong bold colours, I set the camera for vivid mode and full saturation, plus I used a circular polarized to get this colours.

I agree with what has been said already. My eyes are fighting on whether to look at the building or the tree. Maybe moving to the right a little and keeping the low angle could yield a better combination of the two elements. Just a thought! Loving the architecture though, really flows nicely.

The tree actually ruins the composition Other then this I love the colors - these green,orange,blue - very powerful palette
