Description
Another one from the series Aliens of our Gardens. This is really a strange odd looking creature! That entire section on the front of the bug retracts and hides inside him when he is playing dead to miss lead the predators. (see additional photo)Please see the full version of it, and please leave a line or two!

Good macro!
Only thing that distracts me a bit is the blurred foreground part. Mayeb if you'd crop a bit of that, and added a bit more space on top

You used flash?
Preferred your previous bug comp!

Yup I used the flash. I set it to -0.7 light, just to have a bit of an extra light, either that or up the ISO and end up with a lot of noise, the weather was a bit harsh it was threatening to rain at any moment and I had to be a bit fast and keep moving to avoid mosquito bites! Still I have at least 15 bumps due to mosquito bites

Reads like you had difficult conditions to deal with, you did a good job. time to get a serious macro lens, Vascodude.
