Description

As I said in My Eye II by  Vasco (please have a look at it ) I'm currently on vacation and I don't always get internet. Luckily, the hotel tonight has! and I don't know when I'll be able to post photos again this next week, so here it goes!
This was taken after my lunch yesterday. I found a great place, near a river. The tables were so close to it that we could see the fish swimming.
After a considerably huge lunch (10 varieties of grilled meat), the rest of the group just lay on some chairs catching sun and taking a nap,I took the camera and enjoyed river side "wildlife"! This is the first of a few of this nice couple I will be posting.
This is the last this month! I've reached the 6 post limit! It's the first time I did it!
I didn't do much in this one, I only have my laptop and the laptop mouse, no proper monitor and no wacom to do proper selections! Still I think this is good enough to post here, but I'll love to read your opinions!
Oh, please look at the bigger version!

Lens: 40-150 mm Zuiko Digital
Focal Length: 150mm

So this is what you do in your holiday? Post pictures to GFX? :p

Very cool capture of the damsel flies working on not going to extinction.

Beautiful, clean background. I just wish for a lower angle, and that the green stem on the right was not there (he is always there the bastard, I know...). Also wish that the shadow didnt cross the females wings, but it seems unavoidable in this case.

As for sharpness (which is fairly good after all) - get yourself a macro lens. :)

A very good capture. Great colors. I'm not sure this needs the panoramic format as the right side seems to lack any useful elements. I'd crop the right side and focus on the insects.

I don't think life on this planet could look more alien except maybe in the oceans. I like the vivid colors and the gradients are very smooth for that amount of contrast.

A good closeup. I agree with roadrunner; however, after cropping out the blurry green it only made the dark green shadow across the bug's wing stand out. My recommendation would be to crop a bit off the right at the point where the leaf curves downward just before going upward. And, I would crop a tiny bit from the left.
